Applications of eddy current testing:
Eddy current testing equipment is used for on-site inspection.
Eddy current testing is primarily used for condition assessment of both magnetic and non-magnetic materials.
As an example the critical load points of structures, can be examined through the paint for stress cracks.
The same is possible for cranes and other lifting gear. On aircraft, eddy current testing is used around rivets and on wings to detect stress cracks.
